I took this shot of the River Asbach about 300 meters up stream before it flows into the Schwarzer Regen. I was here a few weeks ago – without a camera – so I drove back up there today – with a camera. I used a 3,0 ND filter to give an exposure of 20 seconds at f/13 with the camera set to an ISO of 100.
One of the most pleasant things about photographing along a river bank is slowly moving, in this case, upstream, listening to the water flowing, watching the River Dippers bobbing on the rocks and, well, a lot of the time not actually taking any photographs at all.
Beautiful picture!
Thank You!

Charles
